My research group has been based at Macquarie University since 2007. I formerly held a faculty position at the University of New South Wales (Sydney), after postdoctoral positions at Imperial College (London), Oxford University (UK), and Uppsala University (Sweden). I completed my PhD at Leicester University (UK), and BSc in Zoology at Leeds University (UK).
I am passionate about the arid zone of Australia and fascinated by the way that it shapes the animals that live there.
